Photon Feelings in Linear Empty Space = Vacuum
16 January – 21 February 2026

Gallery SIND presents Photon Feelings in Linear Empty Space = Vacuum, a new exhibition by Katrín Inga that explores light as both a physical phenomenon and an emotional carrier. Working with metal and 360° neon LED light tubes, Inga creates abstract, linear structures that occupy the space between wall works, bas-reliefs, and sculptural drawings in air.

The exhibition places light in dialogue with emotion, intuition, and perception, proposing parallels between the behavior of photons and the movement of feelings through space—often unseen, yet active and influential. Referencing ideas from quantum physics and Karen Barad’s concept of agential realism, the works suggest that reality emerges through relations and encounters, rather than fixed objects.

Here, light does not merely illuminate form, but articulates a state: a vibration, an energy gap, a subtle charge between bodies, artworks, and viewers. Perception becomes an active participant, shaping what comes into being in the shared space of the exhibition.
