Gallery Gudmundsdottir is pleased to host an artist talk with Erla S. Haraldsdóttir on 14 February at 16:00, held in connection with her exhibition Transit – The Geometry of Transit.
The conversation will focus on Haraldsdóttir’s artistic praxis and the ideas, processes, and research informing the exhibition. The talk will be moderated by Jonatan Habib Engqvist, curator, writer, and editor based in Stockholm.
Engqvist works internationally across curating, writing, and teaching, and has contributed to exhibitions, biennials, and experimental platforms throughout Europe and beyond. He is the founding director of Curatorial Residency in Stockholm (CRIS), co-editor of the cultural journal Ord & Bild, and has published extensively in art journals, books, and exhibition catalogues.
The artist talk offers insight into Haraldsdóttir’s ongoing exploration of movement, structure, and spatial perception, and provides an opportunity to engage more closely with the conceptual framework of Transit – The Geometry of Transit.
